Terms of use
Today’s Headline shows you what news outlets are publishing and sends you to them to read it. These are the terms that come with using it.
What this service is
We read the public RSS and Atom feeds that news organisations publish, and show you the headline, the summary they wrote, their image and their name. We group stories that cover the same event so you can see who else is reporting it.
We do not copy article text and we do not write summaries of anyone’s reporting. Every story links to the publisher’s own page, and that is where you read it.
The journalism isn’t ours
Headlines, summaries and images belong to the publishers who made them. We show them to point you at the source, not to replace it. You may read and share what you find here; you may not scrape this service, republish its contents, or present them as your own.
Publishers who want out can request removal, and we act on it.
What we can and can’t promise
We choose which outlets to carry, but we do not write, edit, fact-check or endorse what they publish. A headline appearing here is not a claim by us that it is accurate. If a story is wrong, the correction belongs with the publisher who wrote it.
We aim to keep the service running and current, but we can’t guarantee it is available, complete or up to date at any given moment. Feeds go down, publishers change their systems, and we depend on both.
Using the service
Use it as a reader. Don’t attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it, and don’t use automated tools to harvest its contents. We rate-limit requests, and we may block access that damages the service or the publishers we carry.
Cost
Today’s Headline is free. If we introduce a paid tier, its price and terms will be shown before you are asked to pay for anything.
Privacy
We don’t ask who you are — no account, no email, no name. What little we do record, and why, is set out in the privacy policy.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed. Questions go to support@todaysheadline.app.
